Joyce, if you used your
MagicBand on your previous Walt Disney World vacation, it should still be linked to your My Disney Experience account and automatically link to your upcoming reservation. So, the
My Disney Experience mobile app may be refusing the number because it is already linked. You can see all of your linked MagicBands in your My Disney Experience account by hovering over the My Disney Experience tab on the
Walt Disney World Website, and selecting “My MagicBands and Cards”. If your MagicBands show here, you’re all good to set out on your adventure across the Walt Disney World Resort!
If you try the above steps and still find that you are having difficulty linking your MagicBands, you can get the Front Desk Cast Member to link them for you at the
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel when you check in. I’ve done this once before on a trip, and it was quick and seamless!
