We want to come next year for the WDW 50th Anniversary! Will the anniversary celebrations begin in Jan. and last all year? We're debating spring vs Thanksgiving break. Thanks!

Hi, Charlene!  It's great to see you back here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

This is certainly an exciting time to be planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation!  There are so many highly anticipated new additions, like Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, that have recently premiered at the Walt Disney World Resort, and so much more that will be arriving in the near future!  I am eagerly awaiting the opening of Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway next week, and EPCOT is currently undergoing an epic transformation.  Most of these new experiences that are currently in the works are expected to be ready in time to celebrate Walt Disney World Resort's 50th anniversary in 2021.

While we know that 2021 is going to be an amazing yEAR at The Most Magical Place on Earth, we have not yet heard many specifics about the 50th-anniversary celebration.  I would recommend following the Disney Parks Blog to hEAR all of the details about the anniversary events as they are announced.  I'm sure that no matter what time of yEAR you choose to visit, your trip will be a memorable one.  As you move along with your plans, be sure to stop by and see us again if you have any additional questions.

    See ya real soon!
