Hello, Next week we'll be visiting WDW with our 2 1/2 yr old twins and staying at SOG. We have character b-fasts on 2 mornings. We plan to visit MK, Epcot, and AK. How much time should I allot for travel, and what is the best way to get to each park?

    Hi Courtney!

You can get transportation from the Shades of Green.  In my opinion, based on my experience there many years ago, it's not as good as Disney transportation that is provided to and from Disney owned and operated resort hotels.  Thus I would plan on it taking an hour to get to from the Shades of Green to a theme park.  If you are trying to get to a Disney owned hotel and there aren't special circumstances, such as it is on the Magic Kingdom monorail line or within walking distance of Epcot, then I would budget two hours to get there from the Shades of Green; that's because you will first have to transfer at a theme park or Downtown Disney to get to your final destination.

By the way, you might consider walking to the Polynesian Resort from the Shades of Green and then taking the monorail to either the Magic Kingdom or Epcot.  It's not a very long walk.  I'm not sure I would do it at night though because there will be a lot of cars on the road between the Shades of Green and the Polynesian trying to exit the Magic Kingdom area.

I hope this helps!  Write back if you have any more questions!
