Hi, Samantha! Yay! In just a few short days you and your family will be having a ball at the Happiest Place on Earth!
Currently, only children age 2 and under are free at the Disneyland Resort. Everyone age 3 and older requires a theme park ticket, although tickets for children ages 3 through 9 are offered at a slightly lower price. I suggest that you
purchase your tickets in advance either online or on the
Disneyland app. This will save you some time as you won’t have to stop by a ticket booth when you arrive. You can head straight to the gates at Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park where your eTicket vouchers will be exchanged for paper tickets. I also recommend that you upgrade to Park Hopper tickets. Since the parks are literally only steps away from one another, hopping back and forth is incredibly easy! Plus with three kids, it’s important to keep your plans flexible and a Park Hopper ticket allows you to do just that.
Also, if you haven’t already, take the time now to download and familiarize yourself with the free Disneyland mobile app. This will be your best tool for navigating the parks efficiently. It will tell you current attraction wait times,
FASTPASS return times, where and when characters are meeting, and so much more! Additionally, if it’s your first visit to the Disneyland Resort, the app’s map view will help you get around the parks easily.
I hope this helps! See ya real soon!
