Hi there, Emma! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney - it's a pleasure to have you here! Summer is such a fun time to visit
Walt Disney World Resort, and I'm sure everyone is counting down the days until your vacation begins. As a girl mom myself, I am all about the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and I'll be happy to share some tips and tricks for making the most of this iconic Disney experience!
Although my girls are too old for the BBB these days, I love seeing all of the kids dressed up from their royal makeovers around
Magic Kingdom Park. We were able to take our daughters a few times when they were in their peak princess era, and it was so special! There are currently two princess-themed packages, the Fairy Tale and the Kingdom. Both include makeup and nail polish, and you actually get to take the bottle of polish home. There isn't anything else that you can substitute for the nail polish. I personally would go ahead and enjoy the nails with your Fairy Godmother in Training, and then enjoy another day out with Grandma after your vacation for some extra pampering!
Since it's most likely going to be hot on the day you visit the Boutique, I recommend packing a cool and comfortable outfit including shoes, in case your princesses are wearing gowns and decide they need a change. Shorts under the dresses are a must!
One last tip, Emma - there will be Disney PhotoPass photographers capturing the makeovers and the all-important moment when the princesses will see their transformation in the mirror. If you haven't purchased
Memory Maker for your trip, you can buy it in advance of your arrival for a discounted price, and capture all of the photos from your day at the boutique. We don't always get it for our vacations, but it was a must for those experiences!
I hope this information is just what you need to prepare for a magical time at Walt Disney World. If you have any other questions before you arrive next week, please come back and see us again at planDisney - we're always here to help!
See Ya Real Soon,
Susan
