Our next WDW vacation will be split between two resorts:tree nights at Fort Wilderness Cabins then moving to AOA family suite . Will the WDW staff move our belongings to the new resort for us while we are enjoying a theme park?

    Hi Jodi,

Absolutely! Moving resorts mid-stay is quite easy. Several years ago my family transferred from the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort to the Grand Floridian. You will need to call the front desk to request that Bell Services transfer your luggage and you will have to be in the cabin when they arrive. They need you to ensure that they have picked up all of your bags. Due to this, you'll want to plan accordingly by calling at least a half hour before you want to leave in case they are backed up. I actually recommend calling down to the desk the night before your transfer and scheduling for a luggage pick-up at a particular time which will prevent you from waiting around. Once they've picked up your bags, you are free to head out and enjoy the parks. At the end of the day, simply board a bus bound for the Art of Animation Resort. Your bags will be waiting there for you.

    Wishing you a wonderful vacation,
