Hi! Our next WDW vacation is in september. We have reservations for Boma on Sept. 22 at 8pm. I have heard Animal Kingdom Lodge has nightly stories by a firepit. What time do they do this and is it just for animal kingom lodge guests? Thanks!

Jambo Tracy and welcome to the Moms Panel!

I just had the pleasure of spending a few nights at Animal Kingdom Lodge with my family last month and we fell in love with this spectacular resort!  The theming is so authentic you'll think you've arrived on the African Savanna, and the experience doesn't end with the decor.  Activities such as the nightly fire pit stories ensure that you're immersed in African Culture from the time you arrive, until you depart!

African Story-Telling takes place nightly at one of two locations:  The lobby fire pit or the adjacent outdoor fire pit.  This traditional activity occurs at 7:30 pm and is open to guests of all Walt Disney World Resorts.  I encourage you to arrive early to scope out the animals on the picturesque savanna prior to the story time.

You're gonna really enjoy, Boma which is commonly hailed as one of the best buffet dining experiences on Disney property!  Be sure to eat some Zebra Domes for me!

    Kwaheri,
