    Our next WDW trip is in Oct.2014-we will be going to the Halloween party-but we were wondering if any of the other parks,and the resorts,are decorated in any way.We usually come in May,but are now going to try to visit for the holiday seasons-can't wait!

    Hi Jim! I just answered another question about where to find Halloween decorations and fun while visiting Walt Disney World. There is a great answer to this and that is Fort Wilderness! This is where all the fun begins and ends when it comes to this holiday at any resort.

    The campsites abound with great decorations done by the many guests. Disney and scary inflatables can be found and some guests really go to great work to make interactive trails through their sites to see intricate displays. You can reach this resort by bus or boat from the parks and can walk through many of the loops that are close by.

    On Halloween or the day or two before you will find such fun activities such as golf cart parades, pet parades, trick or treating, and pumpkin carving contests. It is truly the best resort to find this holiday fun and decor.  I will be decorating our own campsite with our love of a football team and the theme of the holiday and will be ready to enjoy the fun myself!
