Next visit 9/22-29!! Looks like we will have 1.5 days of Wine & Food (am I right?). Never experienced it before...should I plan at least 1/2 day at EPCOT to explore? Recommendations on what not to miss? Any word on Be Our Guest opening date? Tnx

    Hi Adelle,

The annual Epcot International Food and Wine Festival begins on September 28, 2012. Visiting the marketplace booths, taking part in celebrity chef events, and signing up for unique activities are just some of your options at the Food and Wine Festival.

If you enjoy sampling food and wine from different countries, then a half-day visit to Epcot is definitely recommended. This popular event is often crowded so plan ahead for any events that you'd like to attend and/or the marketplace booths that have the food that you are most interested in. Prior to the festival, the menus for all the booths will be released to help you with your plans.

An excellent source of information is available at, including pictures of menu items!

World Showcase in Epcot requires a lot of walking and festival booths can have long lines. You may want to plan a longer day to truly enjoy this special experience!
