    On our next visit my family wishes to dine at AKL - I cannot eat spicy food of any kind, but would still like to try dining there. Do you know if I can ask for something totally plain (i.e. steak) or is everything spiced in some way? Would Boma be best?

    Thank you for sending in y our question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

    The three restaurants at the Animal Kingdom Lodge are fabulous.  You can definitely request that your food be prepared a certain way at both Jiko and Sanaa.  That is a little harder to do at Boma, but some of the food that is offered there is already plain.  That said, I think Boma would be your best bet and I highly recommend it.  It is my favorite buffet in all of Walt Disney World.  Get there early or stay late and spend some time exploring the Animal Kingdom Lodge!  A fun activity at night is watching the animals with night vision goggles; just ask about this at the front desk!
