Next trip to WDW, we are thinking about taking a day & going around to some of the other resorts. Can we go to the AKL and look around at the animals at that resort? Thanks, love the site because of all the ways you all look into getting the answers to

    Judy,

You have uncovered one of the best kept secrets ... exploring each and every resort Walt Disney World has to offer! You are absolutely welcome to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and any other resort for that matter. Our kids have loved walking outside to take a look at the expansive savanna, spotting giraffe, zebras and many more. A night visit is even more exciting, with African storytellers around a fire and complimentary night goggles to watch the animals roam.

Each Disney Resort Hotel offers unique theming and I'd highly recommend spending time exploring, or dining within them. Boma is a family favorite at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Check out the attached link to see if it might appeal to your travel party, too! I recommend booking Advanced Dining Reservations at any of the Disney Resort hotel table service dining locations either online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE, 407-939-3463.

Happy planning, Judy, and feel free to send me any other questions coming to mind.
