For my next trip I wanted to ship some snacks for my room and some of the items (chocolate covered strawberries) have to stay cold...how would I go about it?

    Hi Karli!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It is so great to hear from you again!

My family is relatively large, and over my many Incredible vacations to the Walt Disney World Resort, I have found that it is easier shipping items to our Disney Resort hotel than trying to transport these items with our luggage. I like to have snack items on hand that I know will keep my kids happy. When they were smaller, I would even ship their diapers, wipes, and baby food! It made travel so much easier for us.

While I agree with shipping snacks and other necessities before your arrival, I wouldn’t recommend shipping perishables. It would be a shame to pack something delicious like chocolate-covered strawberries and then have them not survive the transport. I would like to recommend taking advantage of local grocery delivery service such as Garden Grocer or Amazon Prime Now for perishables. For any packages that you send to yourself, you will be able to pick them up at your resort hotel’s Business Center if staying at a convention hotel, or if you are staying at another Resort hotel like Disney’s Pop Century Resort, you can pick up your package from the Front Desk.

I hope that you have the most magical time!
