Our next trip there will be 5 of us, with two boys under 3 years old. Will we still be able to stay in a regular room at POP or AOA? Or do we need to upgrade to suites or Port Orleans?

    Hi Anastasia,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you are planning a fabulous trip!

Disney's Pop Century and Art of Animation Resorts are beautifully themed. Pop Century can sleep two to four comfortably. Art of Animation can sleep up to six comfortably. I would suggest a suite at Art of Animation. Even if you would not need separate beds for the boys, you still need space.

I would also suggest that you consider Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, Caribbean Beach Resort and the Contemporary Resort. They all have rooms that can accommodate five. Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, for example, has a standard room that includes two queen-sized beds and a child-sized pull-down bed. The Caribbean Beach Resort has rooms with two queen-sized beds and one child-sized pull-down bed. The Contemporary resort includes rooms with two queen-sized beds and a day bed. Be advised that the Caribbean Beach Resort is currently undergoing refurbishment.

I remember traveling with our girls when they were younger. Although they did not take up much space, their stuff did. By the time we packed the stroller, Pack 'n Plays, diaper bag, suitcases, snacks and toys, our room always shrunk! We loved having a suite with our girls when they were younger. Having a dining table was fantastic.

No matter which resort you choose, I trust that you will have a magical time!
