Hi there, Rebecca! And welcome back to planDisney! It's been a while! I am thrilled to hear you are planning another visit to Walt Disney World Resort! It's so incredibly fun to visit with family, but you multiply the magic when you bring other families along!
If I've said it once, I've said it a million times -
Memory Maker is one of the best values anywhere. Pictures of your family (and entire travel party) taken by professionally-trained photographers all over the theme parks for the entirety of your vacation? Sign me up! And I have good news, Rebecca. Staying off-property does not affect
the benefits of Memory Maker!
There are a few things you'll need to do to ensure that you get all those great photos:
- Make sure that everyone in your travel party is linked as "My Family & Friends" within My Disney Experience.
- When logged in on a computer (this can't be done on the mobile app), click on My Disney Experience and choose "Friends & Family."
- For each member of your party, make sure you are connected in PhotoPass by clicking on the "Edit Settings" button and turning on the toggle next to "Allow [friend's name] to view your Disney PhotoPass photos."
Only the person who purchases Memory Maker will be able to edit and download photos, but anyone who is linked can add photos. There are over 175 locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort to get your picture taken! Be sure that you or someone in your group gets your magic band or ticket ID scanned by each PhotoPass photographer who takes your picture.
The package includes
magic shots, portrait sessions, and attraction photos, too! I think the coolest ride photo is from
Tron Lightcycle Run. This exciting coaster is located in
Magic Kingdom Park and is one of the fastest attractions in any Disney Park worldwide! It is my daughter's favorite, and it has become one of mine, as well! It's hard to beat a photo of you on your own Lightcycle speeding across the grid!
