On our next trip we will be staying off property but are hoping to dine at at least one of the resorts. I was wondering if you could tell me if there is a cost to park at the resorts if you're not a guest and don't have an ADR. Thanks!

    Hi Stefanie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

One of my favourite ways to spend some relaxation time at Walt Disney World Resort is to visit some of the other Disney Resort hotels. They are all so unique, with their own theming, and are definitely worth exploring!  This will also give you an idea of where you might like to stay on future visits!  Everyone is welcome to visit the Disney Resort hotels.  Parking is complimentary for day visits, but I would caution that at very busy times of the year space in the parking lots may be limited and will be reserved for Guests with hotel reservations or dining reservations.  You would only incur a parking charge at a Disney Resort hotel for an overnight stay.

Dining reservations are open to everyone, not just those guests with Disney Resort hotel reservations, and can be made up to 180 days in advance, online or by using My Disney Experience.  Some of my favourite Walt Disney World Resort restaurants are located at the hotels!  I highly recommend Narcoossee's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Resort which has a lovely waterside location, overlooking Seven Seas Lagoon, with view of Happily Ever After, the Magic Kingdom Park fireworks (if you time it well!) and Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney's Yacht Club Resort with its enviable location of being a short walk away from EPCOT's International Gateway entrance.  If you would like to dine in the company of Snow White, Dopey and Grumpy, Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White is a must-do!  You'll have the added bonus of a photo opportunity with the Queen (admittedly, it won't be a very 'smiley' photo unless you catch her on a good day!), and a chance to explore the very beautiful Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

Please come back and visit us again if you have any further questions.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.
