Hello, Julie! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
My 5-year-old gets a kick out of all the fun places to dine at the Walt Disney World Resort! While she may order macaroni and cheese at every meal, she at least delights in the different and fun settings, shows, and characters that are offered at various locations. So, if you are looking for a great meal for the whole family outside of the theme parks, I have oodles of recommendations!
First and foremost is the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at the Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort! This is a dinner show experience that is a hoot for all ages. Singing, dancing, zany jokes, and all the fried chicken you can eat make this a must-do experience for our family. You will pre-pay for this meal and choose a seating section in advance.
If your daughter is like mine and hosts tea parties for all her plush friends at home, then she might enjoy the
Afternoon Tea at Garden View Tea Room at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. You'll indulge in dainty tea sandwiches, scones, and pastries with the perfect accompanying tea in an absolutely beautiful setting. Little ones also get Mrs. Potts Tea (chocolate milk) and sandwiches like ham and cheese and peanut butter and jelly.
Finally, if a meal with characters is a must, try one of these favorites: Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch at 'Ohana, Mickey's Backyard BBQ, or the Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno.
We have lots more options to share, so please return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions!
