Hi! Our next trip is Sept 19-26th, and I've seen a lot of videos where people carry backpacks. It is a good idea for us cause we need to carry some medicines and extra socks! My Question is if they allow me to ride w backpack on or where can i leave it?

    Monica:

Yes, you'll see many families carrying backpacks into the parks, and they are welcomed up to 29" long x 15" high x 18" wide. Almost every ride has enough space in the floor board of the attraction vehicle for you to store a small backpack. Some have a netted area located in the vehicle to secure your belongings. Keep in mind that unlike some theme parks where you return to the same location that you loaded your attraction vehicle, this is not the case on every ride at Disney and so I would not recommend that you plan on leaving your backpack at the loading dock unsupervised.

If you don't want to carry it all day, consider renting a locker near the entrance to each theme park. We purchased "fanny packs" for all of our kids so they could help share the load and tote their own water bottle, poncho, and snack. This tip might be helpful if you have lots of pairs of socks!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
