Hi Judy!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort during my favorite time of year! My family loves celebrating Thanksgiving at Walt Disney World and starting our holiday season off with tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!
It has been my experience that Walt Disney World begins decorating for the holidays around the middle of November. By the time you arrive in late November/early December, you can expect to see the Walt Disney World Resort hotels fully transformed into a winter wonderland!
I love that you're planning on visiting multiple Resort hotels. Each Walt Disney World Resort hotel will have their own unique Christmas decor. If you can, try to visit
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. You'll not only see their holiday decorations, but also experience the life-size gingerbread house that will be set up in the lobby!
Another holiday event that's not to miss is the
Candlelight Processional at Epcot. You will hear the story of Christmas, told by a celebrity narrator, while an orchestra and choir fill the air with music. It is an unforgettable experience and has become one of my family's most cherished traditions at Walt Disney World! I highly recommend looking into the
Candlelight Dining Package; after a tasty meal, you'll be guaranteed seats for the performance!
Judy, I can't wait for you to see Cinderella Castle in all its holiday glory! If you have any other questions while planning for your upcoming vacation, please come back and visit us again!
