Our next trip is over Halloween this yr. We chose to not attend MNSSHP & planned to enjoy the Halloween-related activities at Ft Wilderness which is where we are staying, but it looks like Disney isn't hosting them! Any word on any other activities? T

    Hi Robynn!

Fort Wilderness is one of my favorite resorts, especially during any holiday!  They used to have haunted carriage rides, but have discontinued them as of this year.  You can still joy ride around the resort and see tons of amazing decorations and lights that campers have set up.  Seeing how the guests get into the decorating spirit is one of the things I really love about the resort!  If you haven't already booked a golf cart, I highly recommend that you do, at least for one night of riding around.

Downtown Disney also used to host trick-or-treating, but have discontinued that as well due to the crowds it brought and the safety of guests.

Fall decorations have already gone up all around Walt Disney World and seasonal delicious fall flavored goodies are filling up the shelves in the bakeries.  Other than Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you may not find a whole lot of published activities.  It is entirely possible that each resort will have some kind of special activity during Halloween, but you wouldn't know that until you receive your resort activity schedule for your vacation at check-in.

    Have a magical day!
