Next July will be our 6th trip down to Disney World. We usually stay at the value resort. We have stayed at Port Orleans Riverside, but my husband would like to stay at the french Quarter, which is better when you have two teens?

I absolutely love Port Orleans French Quarter (POFQ). I've been there just with my hubby on a romantic vacation and also as a family with our young son.

However, my 8 year old son now thinks the pool is a bit lame. Since you will be traveling in the heat of the summer, I would recommend a resort where your teens willl most enjoy the pool amenities.

Since you've stayed at Port Orleans Riverside, you know about Ol' Man Island which may be more interesting to your teens than Doubloon Lagoon at POFQ.

Have you considered Coronado Springs Resort? The slide and pool there are great for teens. There is a nearby volleyball court and a marina.
