Hi there, Elisabeth!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! What an incredible adventure you have planned for next summer! It’s on my bucket list to explore Iceland and doing so on the “Mickey Boat” sounds amazing!
Since the sailing is still a bit of time away, not all the excursions and
Port Adventures have been finalized. I know the Port Adventures team works hard to ensure they have the best of the best opportunities available to ensure that Guests get the most out of their time at port! I did check about pre-cruise offerings and was told that they do sometimes offer opportunities for Guests before their actual embarkation. The best way to check on those would be to contact Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 to inquire about any packages they may have or plan to have available for your selected itinerary. The Cast Member I spoke with suggested calling sooner than later because sometimes those type of activities are not officially announced, but rather organized and reserved via telephone.
As a previous cruiser and
Castaway Club member, you are certainly familiar with all the fun and excitement that awaits you onboard! If you have not yet sailed a European itinerary, be assured that it is just as fantastic as any other Disney Cruise you’ve been on! While there is not always a Pirate Night, there is still so much fun to be had! My biggest recommendation (and this is from my previous mistake) is to try to plan your travel to Europe with enough time to get accustomed to the time change…because who wants to sleep away their time onboard?!?
Wishing you a MAGICal and memorable adventure!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
