    any news on rivers of light?

    Hey, Marian!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Oh, we are so excited for Rivers of Light to debut. This nighttime show will be a true adventure filled with lanterns and lights to summons the animal spirits. Discovery River will come alive with magic and wonder. I've seen a sneak peak as this show originally was to begin earlier this year.

    Currently, we have no exact information when the show will be released. Please follow the Disney Parks Blog for the latest information about this new nighttime experience.

    Disney Dad Tip: While at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, be sure to take advantage of the daytime attractions at night. The experience is oddly familiar yet completely different. Facing the Yeti in the dark on Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain or going on a Kilimanjaro Safaris tour to see the African wildlife at their most active are on the "must-do" list. Also, don't forget to party with the Islanders at the Discovery Island Carnivale and see the Tree of Life Awakenings.
