Any news on the cabanas on castaway cay? We were on the island in dec 2010 and the cabanas were available to rent but we did not have time to do so at that time , however we are headed back this dec 2011 and look forward to renting one.

Hi Tatje! You will most certainly find a little piece of paradise in one of the new private rental cabanas at Castaway Cay. Most are located on the Family Beach and some on Serenity Bay Beach, the adult-exclusive beach on the island. Each deluxe cabana is furnished with tables, cushioned chaise lounges, ottomans, ceiling fan, privacy curtain, refrigerator, fresh water shower, floats/tubes, a deck hammock, and much more. For the ultimate upscale beach experience, you will also receive personalized service from a Cabana Cast Member. The Family Beach cabanas accommodate up to six guests for $499.00. Up to four additional guests may be added for $50.00 per person. Serenity Bay private cabanas accommodate four adult guest for $399.00. You can add two additional adults for $50.00 per person. Everything mentioned above is included in the price, except for the adult beverages. Please be sure to reserve your private cabana rental as soon as your booking window opens, as they are very popular and in extremely high demand. Please let me know if I may be of further assistance. Have a fabulous Disney Cruise! Bon Voyage!
