Hi Gloria!
Welcome to planDisney! A royal makeover is the perfect way to add a pinch of pixie dust for any young prince or princess while visiting Walt Disney World Resort. Unfortunately, we haven't heard any updates yet on if or when the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Disney Springs will be reopening, but I'm happy to share a few other options for your visit.
While the Disney Springs location is currently unavailable, guests can make reservations at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Magic Kingdom Park. Here you can choose from a variety of makeover packages and the fairy godmothers will be happy to make your wish come true! This is a very popular reservation, so I'd encourage you to be ready to book as soon as it opens. If you are staying in the
Disney Resorts Collection, you can
make your reservation for any date during your entire length of stay (up to 10 days), 60 days before your arrival while all other guests can book 60 days before the desired date of their reservation. After your makeover, I'd recommend trying to grab a reservation at
Cinderella's Royal Table where your young one can enjoy dining with Disney princesses. You may also want to consider booking a
Capture Your Moment photo session - a 20-minute private photo session with a
Disney PhotoPass photographer in the park. If you have purchased
Memory Maker, the photo downloads from this session are included!
There is also an option for a makeover outside of the parks at
The Grand Floridian Spa. When I was looking over their offerings, I noticed that they have services for guests as young as five years old including manicures, pedicures, and makeovers. To complete the experience, you could purchase a costume from the
Disney Store ahead of your visit. While this will be distinctly different from what is offered at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, it still provides a chance to be treated like royalty! In fact, you may be able to enjoy a treatment together. As a mom who has always wanted to go to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique myself, I love that adults and kids can both enjoy a bit of magic here! If you choose this option, I would suggest pairing it with a meal at the soon-to-reopen
1900 Park Fare. This character dining experience will feature an
all-new character line-up including Aladdin, Cinderella, Tiana, and Mirabel!
Gloria, I wish I had more information to share about a reopening of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Disney Springs, but I hope these suggestions help you plan a visit to Walt Disney World Resort that is practically perfect in every way! Remember that you are always welcome to be our guest here at planDisney and we hope to see you again with any future vacation planning questions!
Cheers,
Kristi
