Newlyweds; no kids, and new to planning trips. Trying to plan a trip consisting of both Disneyworld and Disney Cruise. We are from Charlotte, NC and are planning our vacation late October for our anniversary. We want to do a 3 day cruise, then 4 day disney

    Hello Fatima,

October is a wonderful month to travel to Disney World...the weather is really nice!  You'll love sailing on a Disney cruise too...get ready to be spoiled!

In the past, Disney Cruise Line did offer what was called the "land & sea" package, but they are no longer available.  If you call the cruise line and speak with a representative they can, however, make resort reservations and get you park tickets if you'd like.

My suggestion is that you do not book your resort and park days through the cruise line.  When I called and spoke to one of the reservation specialists, I was told that this method may not be the most cost effective for Guests.  You see, you would not be able to take advantage of any resort or dining promotions that may be going on in the parks at the time of your trip.  I was also told that there would be no discounted pricing available on resort rooms or park tickets if you book through them.  You can book the Disney parks and resorts leg of your trip online at www.disneyworld.com or by calling (407)939-7675.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
