    With the newly announced version of the annual pass, does the 1 year clock start ticking with the first park entrance (this is the way it was in previous years, just want to confirm this is still true)

    Yesterday was such an exciting day with the announcement over on the Disney Parks Blog about the all-new Walt Disney World Annual Passes. I've been a passholder for years now and I can absolutely say with confidence it is well worth the initial investment. Activation of your new Walt Disney World Annual Pass starts the first day you use it to enter the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. You can purchase it on the release date, September 8th, and then activate it on your next trip. 

    Jim, I don't know if you've had a chance to check out the new Walt Disney World Annual Pass offerings but I'm pretty excited about the new plans. As an out-of-state-Guest you will currently only have one option for an Annual Pass which is the Disney Incredi-Pass. This annual pass includes zero blackout dates and up to 5 park pass reservations at a time - which is my favorite part of this level of pass. Currently, we've been given only 3 park pass reservations at a time and the extra two is going to be a welcomed addition. You'll also receive complimentary parking at all of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks and discounts like 20% off of dining and merchandise. 

    I know you've got to be getting so excited about joining the Walt Disney World Annual Passholder family, Jim. Just a few more days and then you are ready for a year of magic! I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
