Newbie here! Hello, our family is lookin to stay offsite due to a family member having a timeshare a mile from the park. My question is, are we still able to qualify for the magic bands n fastpasses n booking some things 180 days inadavance? Thanks!

    Hey there Lisa!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel page! Staying offsite does not limit your ability to make advanced dining reservations. You can make dining reservations anytime on or after the 180-day mark of your accommodation reservation. You can make dining reservations online through your My Disney Experience account or your mobile app.

Different from dining, Fastpass+ selections cannot be made until you purchase your theme park tickets. Once you have purchased your tickets, you can then make selections 30 days before your arrival, due to staying offsite of Disney property. When staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, you can make selections 60 days prior to your arrival.

Last, Magicbands are available for all guests whether or not they are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort. These magical bands link and store your FastPass+ selections, theme park ticket admission, and your bank account for easy shopping and dining! Magicbands can only be purchased at the four Disney Parks, Disney Springs, or the Disney store online.

Happy planning and if you have any more questions, come back and see me!
