Newbie here. I accidentally made all my dinner reservations for 3 not realizing that my 2 year old didn't count. Will I be charged if 3 adults don't show up? Will she have a seat if I change it to 2 instead of 3?

    Hi Amanda,

Thanks for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Making Advanced Dining Reservations can be confusing, but  I'm glad that you are taking the time to plan in advance, it will make your visit to Walt Disney World Resort even more magical.

When making Advanced Dining Reservations, you will need to include all guests, including guests three and under. This information is needed for safety reasons, as well as they need to set up the tables prior to your arrival.  You will not be charged for an adult, when you arrive the Cast Member will ask how many guests in your party are adults, and you simply need to tell them that you have a two year old, not an adult.  If you would like to change this information prior you will need to login in to your My Disney Experience Account and click on the tab for My Reservations and Tickets.  From there, scroll down to find the dining reservation and select "Update Guests" for the desired reservations.  you will then be able to change your two year old from an adult to the correct age.

I hope you have a fantastic time at Walt Disney World Resort, Amanda.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always here to help.
