New Year’s Eve Can you see fireworks at Disney Springs? What time does it start?

    Hi Antionette,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

Visiting Walt Disney World Resort over New Year’s Eve is definitely a dream of mine. Although it can be a very busy time of the year for a visit, there are so many special events that, with a bit of planning, I can’t think of a better place to ring in the new year!

This year, there is a special page dedicated to all the fun that you’ll be able to experience during New Year's Eve at Walt Disney World Resort. Although Disney Springs will have an assortment of dining and entertainment options, there will be no fireworks displays there. It’s also very difficult (if not impossible) to catch even a small glimpse of the displays in the Theme Parks from anywhere in Disney Springs. If you want to catch a show without a Theme Park Ticket, I highly recommend one of the “Rooftop Celebrations” that will be available that night at various Disney Resort Hotel dining locations (reservations required).

Don’t forget that the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort are filled with other special experiences, which typically continue until at least January 2nd.

I hope my answer helps you plan your vacation! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
