Hi are New Year’s Eve tickets special ticketed events and how would I purchase a one day ticket from the uk ?

Hi Heather and welcome to planDisney.

How exciting that you're considering ringing in the New Year at Walt Disney World! My family visited for 2-weeks over Christmas and New Year several years ago and I have to say that we were truly spoilt as no other New Year's Eve celebrations have ever come anywhere close to what we experienced at EPCOT, that evening.

I am happy to share that no special event ticket is required in order to spend New Year's Eve at any of the Disney Parks and if you already have or, plan to purchase, our UK & Ireland Exclusive 7-Day or 14-Day Disney Magic Tickets, via the UK version of the Walt Disney World website, entry would be included on this date, without the need to make any park reservations.

If, however, you are looking to purchase a 1-Day Ticket for 31 December 2025, it is only possible to do this via the US version of the Walt Disney World website or, My Disney Experience App once you have arrived in the US.

What I would say is that the Disney Parks can reach capacity on super popular dates, such as New Year's Eve, so, I would definitely recommend aiming to arrive at the Theme Park of your choice during the morning to ensure that you are able to gain access.

If you would like to eat at a Table-Service restaurant, on New Years Eve, it would also be a good idea to make an Advance Dining Reservation for that day, as soon as you are able to.

Top Tip - Dining reservations are released at 11:00am UK time, 60 days in advance and, if you happen to be staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you are able to make reservations 60 days in advance of your arrival, for your entire length of stay (for up to a 10-night stay).

I hope that this information has been of use, Heather. Please feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any other help with the planning of your trip. You can even ask me a question directly if you would like a UK perspective on anything at all.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
