New Year's Eve, what would u do? Dinner @ T-Rex then over to Polyneasian Beach for fireworks OR HDR and fireworks at Fort Wilderness beach? Can't decide!! U Moms & Dads are always so helpful. Thanks a bunch

    Hi Lana!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

How exciting to be visiting Walt Disney World Resort for New Year's Eve!  I would love to be there at that time of year.

Personally, if you want the best view of the fireworks, I would book dinner at T-Rex at Downtown Disney, and then go to Disney's Polynesian Resort beach - the view of the fireworks from Fort Wilderness Beach is not great - I'm not even sure that you can see them at all from there.

I would recommend you leave plenty of time for travelling as it is going to be busy!

Check the calendar for Magic Kingdom park to see the schedule for the fireworks for that night (it is not showing yet, but check back in July).  On such a busy night I would recommend arriving at the beach at the Polynesian at least 60 minutes before the show starts, to secure a good viewing spot.

If you arrive early you could enjoy a snack at the quick service restaurant Capt. Cook's, or enjoy a drink in the Tambu Lounge.

If you have any more questions, please come back and ask me, I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
