How lucky are you to be in the middle of the magic at this very moment?!? Now, I can think of no better place to add a bit of pixie dust to your 2026 than Walt Disney World Resort, and I'm happy to share that several New Year's Eve celebrations were confirmed today in the My Disney Experience app.
- EPCOT (open until 1 AM) will host DJ dance parties in World Celebration and throughout the World Showcase in addition to two fireworks displays, Luminous The Symphony of Us at 6:30 PM and Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration at 11:54 PM.
- Disney's Hollywood Studios (open until 12 AM) will feature various live entertainment offerings, DJ dance parties, special character experiences, and New Year Countdown Fireworks at 11:57 PM.
- Magic Kingdom Park (open until 1 AM) will light up the night sky with a special fireworks display, Fantasy in the Sky, at both 7:30 and 11:50 PM.
In addition to the special New Year's Eve festivities, Hollywood Studios will have 3 showtimes of
Fantasmic! while Magic Kingdom Park will feature 2 performances of Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away.
With so many magical offerings, it's no surprise that Walt Disney World's theme parks are wildly popular on New Year's Eve and regularly reach capacity on this particular day. Because of this, I suggest choosing where you'd like to ring in the New Year and arriving at that theme park during the morning hours to make sure you're able to gain entry and take part in the midnight magic. Happily, there's no shortage of sights, sounds, tastes, and experiences in each theme park (check the My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date schedule and list of offerings), so you'll have no problem filling your day as you count down to the New Year!
