Is there a New Year's celebration at Disney Springs? Are there fireworks?

Greetings, Anna Ruth, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we thank you for your question regarding New Year's festivities at Disney Springs.

What better way to celebrate the season at Walt Disney World Resort and ring in the new year at the redesigned Disney Springs where the holiday events and festivities will delight you with exciting dining, themed activities, shows and entertainment. There is so much to see and do, Anna Ruth, you could easily spend many hours for days in a row experiencing everything, and it still won't be enough.

Keep a close watch on our official Disney Parks Blog for upcoming announcements of holiday events and activities at Disney Springs. You can also follow our Disney Parks on Social Media for the most current, up-to-date last minute releases and news. Last year, for example, at Disney Springs on New Year's Eve, the thrilling Cirque du Soleil had two performances and distributed special commemorative pins. There were many DJ dance parties and live entertainment throughout. Even the Food Trucks were bursting with delicious food and beverages to ring in the new year.

The fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Epcot begin near midnight to bring in the new year with grand sparkles that light up almost the entire Resort. Just imagine such unique and memorable fireworks displays, Anna Ruth!

Wishing you the most magical and Happy New Disney Year~
