With the new welcome morning show at Magic Kingdom which lets you enter and go down main street. How early should you arrive and what time are they allowing people to enter main street to wait at the castle for the show?

Hello, Kate! Your vacation is just around the corner, and you’ll soon be “Walking Right Down the Middle of Main Street U.S.A.!” Getting an early start in Magic Kingdom is my family’s favorite way to start the day.

The welcome show, “Let the Magic Begin,” takes place on the Cinderella Castle Forecourt Stage about 10 minutes before the park opens. If Magic Kingdom Park opens at 9am, guests will be allowed to enter an hour before that, at 8am, to peruse the shops, have some casual quick-service breakfast in the eateries, and my favorite, grab a cup of coffee from the Main Street Bakery. You can even begin your game of Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, or snag a haircut at the Harmony Barber Shop with your extra time.  When you hear the announcement that the show is about to begin, move towards the center hub for a great view of the excitement before you cross the bridges to the “lands” of Magic Kingdom after the show.

Enjoy your morning, and have a magical vacation! ~Lindsey P.
