Hi Moms! New to WDW w/kids, going to MK on a day with PM Xtra magic hrs. Plan: take a mid day break for naps or whatever (time suggestion?); then a 3:20p appt at BBBoutique DWNTWN, and a 5:40p dinner at CRT. Possible or too ambitious? Please advise! Thnk

    Hi Karla!

A big congratulations on taking your first Walt Disney World vacation, you guys must be so excited! It sounds like you have a very ambitious day planned, but I think your plans are completely doable.  I'm assuming that you will be visiting Magic Kingdom December 2 so the park will be open from 9am-11pm with Extra Magic Hours.  Here is my suggestion based on those plans and park hours:
    • Arrive at Magic Kingdom approximately 20 to 30 minutes before the parks opening ready to start your day.
    • Around noon head back to your hotel for some lunch and a nice nap.
    • Head from your resort to Downtown Disney at approximately 2:30
You will probably have a little bit of time between the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appointment and your dinner reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table, that might allow you to squeeze in one attraction. Dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table typically takes about an hour, which would leave you with plenty of time to visit more attractions plus see Main Street Electrical Light Parade and Wishes!  You may be able to experience most attractions, but I would make a list of your top must do attractions and experiences.  This way you will get to experience your must do's and a stop by a few more if time allows.

One thing that I like to always point out to first time visitors is that Disney World is a big place, I mean a really big place.  It is impossible to see and do everything, plus you don't want to get so wrapped up in keeping to a schedule that you miss out on some magical moments.  Magical moments can happen when you least expect them.  Plus, it gives you an excellent reason to go back and see all the things that you missed this time around.

If you need anymore help with your planning, just let me know!

    Enjoy your Disney Time!
