Hello, With the new, temporary restriction of not being able to borrow points, would the option to purchase one time use points still be available? Thank you in advance for your time.

    Hey there, Veronica!

Thanks so much for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Veronica, I love when I can chat with a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member and am happy to help out.

I have been keeping busy vacation planning and it sounds like you're doing the same! Whether you're hoping to book a Grand Villa at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, a Tower Studio at Disney's Riviera Resort or anything in between, it's important to know how many points you have at your disposal.

The current policy states that Members are able to borrow up to 50 percent of their Vacation points per contract, but as of today, there has been no change to the One-Time-Use Vacation Point option. I talked with a representative through Member Services to confirm this and she said that (again, as of today) you are still able to purchase up to 24 one-time-use points. Just remember, this can only be done once per use year.

Veronica, I hope this helps as you are planning for your next Disney vacation! One thing I love about Disney Vacation Club is knowing that even when life is uncertain, I'm never too far away from the Magic. Whenever you next hear "Welcome Home," I hope it's the start of an unforgettable trip.

Come on back and see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you might have,
