Hi, there!
Kerry, it sounds like you'll be visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort with little ones in tow. How exciting!
As a mom of three, I totally understand your concern. We never travel to Orlando without our City Mini Double Stroller! It's an absolute must-have for our Disney vacations. It's super easy to maneuver and it gives my kiddos a comfortable and well-shaded space to rest their little legs when we're exploring the theme parks. I especially love how quickly it folds since we rely entirely on Disney bus transportation during our weeklong stays.
Several
rules were recently modified by Disney Parks, including new restrictions for strollers.
Beginning May 1, strollers that enter the theme parks must be 31" wide and 52" long or smaller. A City Mini Double Stroller is 30" wide and 37" long, so it will be permitted at the Walt Disney World Resort. Isn't that great? I, for one, am totally relieved!
Many families use a City Mini Double Stroller in the theme parks, making it a bit of challenge to find ours among a sea of others in the designated stroller parking areas. I tie a few Mickey Mouse ribbons around the handlebar along with a luggage tag to make ours stand out. I've seen other Guests use nameplates, balloons, and even battery-operated twinkle lights!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kerry. Please let me know if you have any other questions about your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
