    How does the new star wars ride get boarding time work

    Hi Mary!

    Walt Disney World Resort makes joining the Virtual queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance quick and painless from the perspective of the app. The one important fact that you need to remember is that you will need to be inside of the theme park at the official scheduled opening time when you join the boarding group. I recommend arriving at Disney’s Hollywood Studios about 20 minutes prior to the scheduled opening time to give yourself time to get in and be ready with your smartphone when the time comes. 

    If a boarding group is available, you will join the group, and then you are free to enjoy the park. Once you receive notification that your boarding group is ready, you will have 2 hours to arrive and get in line to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
