Hi Myrna,
Walt Disney World is always evolving and changing, adding new experiences and updates to old favorites. If you haven't visited since 2013, you'll see lots of changes at
Magic Kingdom and
Epcot.
At Magic Kingdom, most of the expanded attractions in Fantasyland opened at the end of 2012. However, Princess Fairytale Hall, where you can meet Cinderella, Rapunzel and other princesses, opened in late 2013, and
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train opened in 2014.
In other changes, the daily Festival of Fantasy parade debuted in spring 2014, and the new fireworks and projection show Happily Ever After premiered earlier this year. One of the most exciting innovations:
Mickey began talking to guests at his meet and greet in late 2013!
At Epcot,
Soarin' has undergone a makeover to take guests on a tour around the world. The
Frozen Ever After ride has replaced the Maelstrom, and Anna and Elsa now greet guests in their adjacent Royal Sommerhus.
In other news, Disney Springs has been re-imagined in the last couple of years, with lots of new restaurants, stores and entertainment. Hollywood Studios is undergoing major expansion. And, of course, Pandora -- The World of Avatar, which opened in late May, is drawing raves at Animal Kingdom.
I hope that gives you a look at a few of the changes you can expect on your next visit, Myrna. Enjoy!
