    Hi! We are new FL residents and visit MK a lot with our 5 YO girl and 15 MO son. Can we use the playground at the Dumbo ride if we don't go on the ride? Are there any other toddler playgrounds at MK? Are there any plans for new toddler areas/playgrounds?

    Hi Sondra!

    Congratulations on your new move to the beautiful Sunshine State! Living so close to the magic sounds like a real dream come true.  While the circus-themed play area inside Dumbo's interactive que is reserved for guests waiting to "take flight", the fun-filled Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station is right next door!  On warm days, we will pack an extra set of clothes and a plastic bag so our little ones can let loose and have a splashtastic time at this great play area.  Another favorite is the Laughing Place Play Area located right next to Splash Mountain.  This area is designed for kiddos 40" and under and while it isn't very large and doesn't offer a lot of sitting room for adults, most of the day it remains shaded by the Walt Disney World Railroad bridge above. Finally, if you haven't explored Tom Sawyer Island yet, I highly recommend it.  Time seems to slow down on the island and suddenly you have been swept away from your magical vacation and are adventuring in a secret hideaway.  Your whole family will enjoy trekking through Injun Joe's Cave and all of the other legendary sites.
