Hiya Dawn,
Welcome to planDisney and Florida residency! When I was in graduate school in Florida, I fell in love with being close to Walt Disney World Resort. Being able to drop by for holidays or date nights makes every day more magical.
The good news is that you are not limited to just providing electronic versions of your
proof of residency in place of having a Florida ID. You can provide printed copies of proof of current mortgage, bills, and certain pieces of mail at the Theme Parks. You can also show electronic versions of the bills on your smartphone or tablet if you prefer. Just make sure that whichever option you choose, the bills are dated no more than two months from the day you show them. Also, residency is not determined by household, so make sure that each person (18 years and older)r has their own proof of residency with their name in order to qualify for Florida Resident theme park tickets or Annual Passes.
I hope this was helpful, Dawn. Before I let you go, I highly recommend verifying your Florida residency at
Guest Relations at Disney Springs to save you some time at the Theme Parks. In my experience, the lines tend to be shorter, and it has the added benefit of me getting to stop into
Gideon’s Bakehouse or
Sprinkles Cupcakes for a sweet treat! Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning!
