Jo from FL Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

We are new residents and have AP. Is there ANY chance of getting a FP for Avatar? I would come on ANY day I can get one! What's the secret?

Hiya fellow Annual Passholder Pal! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Jo, reading your question made me feel like I was in good company! As a fellow AP and Florida Resident, locking in some of those coveted FastPass+ with a 30-day window can be a challenging feat. Because Pandora-The World of Avatar is a brand-new land with new attractions that are truly beyond belief, these FastPass+ go fast!

Guests staying on property at any of the amazing Walt Disney World Resort hotels have early access to FP+. It’s one of the many benefits to staying inside the magic! My little crew and I had a mini stay-cation recently to celebrate my princess’ birthday and because of it, we were able to lock in one of those coveted FP+ for Avatar Flight of Passage. But outside of that 60-day window, I haven’t had much luck.

Another idea is to plan a day when you can arrive before opening. Check the schedule before you go to make sure it’s not a day that has morning Extra Magic Hours. Then, safely and swiftly, head straight to Pandora upon opening so you can beat the crowds.

Jo, even if you find yourself waiting in a long line for this attraction, it is worth it! Plus, you don’t want to miss the standby queue theming. It’s as immersive as the attraction itself!

I hope you get to experience this attraction soon! Oh, and don’t miss the out-of-this-world dining at Satu’li Canteen. The lunch and dinner customizable bowls are my new favorite meal in all the resort! Yum!
