Hey Ariana!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for sending us your excellent question about
traveling to Walt Disney World Resort with little ones. Congratulations on your pregnancy! I wish you a healthy and happy pregnancy and baby.
As the mom of two little ones myself, I remember this being one of the first things I thought about when I became pregnant. In fact, with my second baby, I became pregnant while already having a Walt Disney World Resort vacation planned for the following year. I knew I would have to travel with my infant and preschooler and the thought of it made me nervous. It ended up being one of the magical, and dare I say it, best vacations we have ever taken as a family! Traveling with an infant ended up being easier than I anticipated.
Fortunately, there is no minimum age requirement for an infant to enter the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.
All four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks have Baby Care Centers where you will be able to clean, feed, and change your baby. Please keep in mind that the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks are visited by thousands of people daily and many of them may be sick. Personally, I did not feel comfortable visiting the theme parks with my little Mouseketeer until she was 4 months of age. At that point she had already had her first round of vaccinations and a stronger immune system. At 4 months of age, she also had a better napping pattern and we had a successful sleeping routine in place.
Ariana, if you have any other questions or want additional recommendations about traveling “the World” with your baby, please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again. We are always here to help you!
Wishing you a Pixie-Dusted Pregnancy,
Priscila
