Hi Lauren, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I think that your idea of filling baggies with ice after entering the Theme Parks is awesome! The
Counter Service restaurants will provide you with free ice as often as you need it and there will be no need to worry about freezing ice packs back at your Disney Hotel. It sounds like a perfect strategy!
When my husband and I visit the Theme Parks, we like to
rent lockers to leave fresh food and drinks. It is super helpful to keep delicate items away from the sun, so it might be a good tip for your family, too. This strategy is also great to keep our backpacks light during the day!
It is also wise to learn about the
Baby Care Centers, as they can be super handy if you are traveling with little Mouseketeers -
many moms here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel say that they're true lifesavers! Among other convenient items, they offer private nursing rooms, feeding areas, changing tables and a kitchen with microwaves.
I hope that you and your family have a magical vacation in June, Lauren! If you ever need more help or advice to make the most of your time at the Walt Disney World Resort, please, come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We will be here waiting to help you!
May the magic be with you,
Julie
