Welcome to planDisney! Becoming an Annual Passholder last year was one of the most exciting things I ever did. I found it to be a motivator to take more vacations to my favorite place on Earth.

One of my favorite things about being a passholder are all the discounts! On my first trip to Walt Disney World Resort as a passholder, I booked the room using a great Annual Pass Resort Room discount. I had at that time not yet activated my pass as I was arriving and planned to go to the Parks the day after arrival. I had completed the online check-in process and pleasantly found my room ready when I arrived. No one asked me for pass verification but I knew that I needed the pass activated asap. Passholders are supposed to have a valid Walt Disney World Annual Pass at check-in. I checked into my room and headed straight to the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. The lovely Cast Members activated my Annual Pass very quickly and I headed for a yummy meal. Another option is to head to any of the four main theme parks and have the Cast Members at the ticket booths activate your pass. I prefer visiting Disney Springs as I want to shop and get eased into my vacation with a good meal.

My current favorite dining locations in Disney Springs are eet by Maneet Chauhan and The BOATHOUSE®: Great Food, Waterfront Dining, Dream Boats™. Frankly, there are quite a few delicious options in the Parks. Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar currently has a holiday menu that is a lot of fun and is a planDisney panelist favorite!
