Hi, Amanda! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I'm so glad to hEAR that you're looking forward to a great, big, beautiful tomorrow that includes a visit to
Walt Disney World Resort! Walt Disney World Resort has recently announced its
plans for welcoming Guests back to a world of magic. Keeping in mind the health and safety of Guests and Cast Members, the Walt Disney World theme parks will be operating at reduced capacity levels when they reopen. To manage the number of Guests admitted to the theme parks each day, Guests will need to have a park reservation along with their valid admission ticket for each day that they plan to visit a theme park. Theme park reservations can be made using the new
Disney Park Pass system.
The Disney Park Pass system went live this morning. At this time, all Guests who have valid theme park admission along with a confirmed
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel stay may begin making their theme park reservations, even if their trip is more than 60 days away. On June 26, 2020,
Annual Passholders without a resort hotel stay may make theme park reservations. Beginning June 28, 2020, all other existing ticket holders may make their reservations.
To make your reservations using the Disney Park Pass system, you will need to log into your
My Disney Experience account on your computer or using your phone's mobile internet browser. Theme Park reservations cannot be made using the
My Disney Experience mobile app at this time.
Amanda, I have a Walt Disney World Resort trip scheduled for this fall, and I know many of my fellow panelists also have upcoming vacations. There were certainly lots of Guests using the system this morning, and it required some faith, trust, and pixie dust, along with a bit of patience. However, I'm happy to report that I have my theme park reservations booked, and I have heard from lots of my friends that they also had a successful experience with this new system. I'm happy to report that there is still plenty of theme park availability, so while I recommend booking your reservations as soon as possible, don't fret if you haven't had a chance to access the Disney Park Pass system just yet.
As you get ready for your visit, be sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog, and keep an eye on the
operational updates page on the Walt Disney World website for all of the latest news regarding the reopening process. Remember that tomorrow and your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just a dream away! If you have any additional questions as you get ready for your trip, please visit us again.
Have a magical day!
Samantha
