New to your panel and I'm already so apprecitive of your insight and knowledge about WDW. My question is We've booked the WL for Jan 2-9th-09. Want to surprise our 5 and 2 yr old with the news on Xmas morning do you know any creative ideas how to do so?THX

Won't your children be absolutely surprised!!!  They will certainly always remember this Christmas.  I think there is a chance that you'll be able to see some of the Christmas decorations as well with your arrival on the 2nd.  The Wilderness Lodge is fantastic over the holidays!

When we surprised our children with a trip, we had our children go on a scavenger hunt throughout the house to accumulate clues that ended up being all Disney/travel related, such as a stuffed Mickey Mouse, a Disney movie, a little toy plane, etc. Once all the items were together, they then had to guess their significance.  They knew right away!

I also googled "how to surprise kids with a Disney trip," which had many, many hits if you'd like to see what other creative ways people have surprised their loved ones with Disney trips.
