New panel is GREAT!! just got back from a great trip in jan. DH is in milt. and we want to go back 1st wk of dec for my bday with military promo. How ar crowds and weather then? which resort WL or YC? Keep up the good work for all us mouse lovers.

Hi, Lisa!   Glad you are enjoying the new panel!  We are all excited to be Disney Moms (and Dad!)

Since my birthday is also first week of December, I am often in Disney during this time!   I just love traveling in early December.  The parks are decorated for the holidays, the weather is usually very comfortable, and the crowds are manageable.   While you can't predict the weather, the days are nice and the evenings are perfect with a light jacket.

Both Wilderness Lodge and Yacht Club are fabulous resorts.  If I had to choose my favorite, it would be the Yacht Club.  I like its close proximity to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.  And its pool, Stormalong Bay, is so much fun!

Enjoy planning your December vacation!  If you will be in Disney on your birthday, make sure to register HERE for your special birthday gift from Mickey!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
