Hi this is all so new to me we normally eat dinner at the parks with the characters, now that it isn't happening except at GG- EPCOT. Can you please tell me where we can make a sit down table res at MK and DHS, not too fancy of food. Thank you :)

Hi, Stacey!  It's great to see you back here at planDisney!  The food at Walt Disney World Resort is one of my favorite "attractions," so it would be my pleasure to make some dining recommendations for you.

Vacationing during these unprecedented times is a whole new world for all of us.  Although things may look a bit different during Walt Disney World Resort's phased reopening, the magic will still be there.  At this time, you may find that some dining experiences are modified or unavailable, but I can assure you that there are still plenty of delicious meals and tasty treats to be enjoyed.  I recommend that you take a look at the Dining: Know Before You Go page on the Walt Disney World website.  Here you will find all the information you need about dining during the phased reopening process.  If you scroll down through this page, you will see a list of restaurants that are currently available in the theme parks and Disney Resort Hotels.

If your family loves a traditional Thanksgiving-style feast, I highly recommend Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom Park.  Another dining location in Magic Kingdom Park that is currently accepting reservations is Be Our Guest Restaurant.  The food and atmosphere at Be Our Guest Restaurant are never second best!  You'll feel as if you stepped right into the movie, Beauty and the Beast.

For your visit to Disney's Hollywood Studios, Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano is a cozy eatery perfect for fans of home-style Italian fare.  I also must recommend my kids' favorite place to eat at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant.  This restaurant looks just like a 50's-style drive-in; the tables are even shaped like classic cars!  You can enjoy traditional American cuisine while sitting in a car and watching sci-fi movie clips.  It's a one-of-a-kind dining experience that you're sure to love!

Don't forget to make your dining reservations for your table-service meals.  Currently, dining reservations can be made 60 days in advance.  In addition to your sit-down meals, if you need to grab a bite to eat at any quick-service location, be sure to take advantage of mobile food and beverage ordering.

Wishing you a magical (and delicious) Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
