When will there be a new night parade to replace the electric light parade?

Good evening, Cathy! I’m with you when I say that the Main Street Electrical Parade was one of my favorite Magic Kingdom spectacles, and before that, SpectroMagic!

With the departure of the Main Street Electrical Parade last fall traveling to Disneyland Resort, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party took up the slack for nighttime entertainment. I enjoyed both parties this year, and can highly recommend them to you for your fall and holiday vacations. In 2017, there is not yet another night time parade scheduled, but please keep your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements for future nighttime parades for Magic Kingdom Park.

After watching the sun set around Cinderella Castle, there’s plenty to see after dark. I love gathering around the Castle Forecourt Stage to watch the projection show, Once Upon A Time, making the castle come alive.  Don’t lose your spot in the hub, because shortly after that, the most magical experience of all, the Wishes nighttime spectacular illuminates the park with fireworks, pixie dust, and more. Tinkerbell’s flight always makes my heart feel flutters; stand near the stage or one of the bridges for a fantastic view of her!

I hope your vacation glows with magic! ~Lindsey
